I think consensus is leaning towards user-defined iconsets superseding
the sender's dog.  But what if you saw a cool new iconset and wanted
to share it with others?  It may not be obvious that when you download
an iconset, it's really just for you and does not necessarily have any
bearing on what the other end sees.  That sounds a little less fun for
the normal users.

Maybe the JEP should, in addition to providing for jep-0096/ibb'ing
the JISP to remote user, suggest to the remote client what to do with
it.  E.g., "Upon receipt of a new iconset, client SHOULD prompt user
to install iconset."

I think it's good that we're discussing this here because we're (Psi
and Pandion) probably the most interested in improving the current
status-quo.

Anybody know the internals of Trillian's emoticon support?
