I should repeat that this will probably not be the only (nor easiest)
way to set privacy settings. This is just the central point of privacy
settings, which i would first like to get as good as possible.
Later, we can start thinking about having per-contact privacy settings, and
integrating them with the privacy lists. For example, for every contact, a
right-click menu to edit the privacy settings for that contact. Of course, you
have to keep in mind that privacy lists can be 'less simple', and it can be
quite tricky to integrate this with existing rules (since a contact can be
covered by several rules). Even if Psi always uses a specific ordering in its
rules, another client might change things in the list that you don't expect, so
you cannot rely on internal representations. This also indicates that things
can go wrong, and this is a reason to have the central dialog, to be able to
interpret what's going wrong.
