And incorrect. Suppose a privacy list blocks everything from spamdomain.com.
The only thing the dialog can display is whether the contacts from your roster
in that domain are blocked or not. So far, no problem with me. But if you
change something to one of those contacts, your list will just contain
an enumeration of all contacts on your list from spamdomain.com, and set
them to 'blocked'. This means that, users not on your roster from that domain
will still be able to send messages to you.
And no, i'm not talking from the developers point of view. I'm talking from the
correctness point of view. I will say for the 4th time in this thread: first
concentrate on a decent dialog which actually shows the rules on the server
as they are there, then start thinking about easier methods. If you start
hiding things from users without allowing them to see what's really there,
you are bound to get in trouble. Compare it with Mac OS with Unix under the
hood. Sure, they hide things, but you can still look under the hood what's
wrong.
