I just found a client for Mozilla plateform .. http://moziax.mozdev.org/  
(still from IAXclient lib ) there is an  tel:0044XXXXX url supported 
apparently.

One of the problem I mainly see with sip or iax or any voice over IP server; 
the ressources needed by the main server is quiet huge, bandwith, cpu (...) 
More likely once supported the number on jabber will increase and therefore 
the server will be overloaded; I don't know how they plan the integration of 
this functionality but I hope it will not create this problem.
