The option is in mainline, and lineedit is the default. We'll have  
the bug fixed before release, and any users using windowmanagers  
which don't obey the resize request can either have the lineedit  
growing inwards, which is still neat, or can turn it off. Remko's  
checking to see if fvwm can be made to play nice with a config option  
as well.
