[Psi-devel] BUG: avatar size not checked

When Psi uploads an avatar to the vCard, it automatically converts it to
png. This conversion apparently expands the size a lot, though it
should not, and Psi doesn't check that the expanded size is still <8K.

I tried with a ~1150 byte png, and it ended up larger than the server
would store.

It should probably do the conversion better, and only when absolutely
necessary (it should not have been in this case), and check afterwards
that the size is less than 8 kilobytes. It would also be nice if it
described the preferred size somewhere in the vcard dialog (8k max
required, square preferred, 96x96 max preferred) and perhaps some
indication of how the selected image compares to the preferred size.

Bad - You get pulled over for doing 90 in a school zone and you're drunk
off your ass again at three in the afternoon.
Worse - The cop is drunk too, and he's a mean drunk.
FUCK! - A mean drunk that's actually a swarm of semi-sentient
flesh-eating beetles.
