That's not a bad idea.
At the moment it's really tied into SnipSnap. I have a JabberID tag on my
user wiki page, which allows me to do a query in the database for the tag to
find which user owns it (poor man's extensible user profiles.) It then looks
for the Weblog tag in the same page, and posts the weblog to that URL. It
does this without actually making an HTTP query at all, but posting straight
to the database. And also, the bot is running inside SnipSnap's container.
That being said, it couldn't be hard to make something like this speak
BloggerAPI, AtomAPI, or anything else. It would make it more of a weblog
transport at that point, which would be very interesting to try. :-)
