I have to say I'm on the side that the user should be notified in some way
too. Whether it be by modifying the appearance of the contact on the roster
or by showing a better dialog, I'm not sure what the best way is. If I
remember correctly though (it's been a while), the current implementation
uses a caution symbol, probably impacting negatively on the way the message
is taken. I think we should aim for a, "this is a normal roster management
routine -- just letting you know that your auth has been removed", instead
of, "something is wrong -- your contact doesn't want you to talk to them
anymore".
