I don't see a problem with hovering over it and seeing "Version: (Fetching)",
which would be replaced in front of your eyes when the information becomes
available. It wouldn't be such a chore to just hold the mouse still a while
longer.

Problem is, if you have 100 people on your contact list, it would take you 100
hours to update someone's vcard... I hope that PSA keeps to his ideas of
using pubsub for the replacement of vCard. :-)
