How about the attached dialog as a solution?  If someone decides they no 
longer want the password saved, they can always remove it from the 
account settings by blanking the entry as mentioned.  This is not a 
photoshopped pic either, I made a new class for it and it's almost done.

On my University's network, we use LDAP for shared passwords and that 
means when a password changes, Psi will have the wrong one stored.  My 
plan was to also have this dialog show when login credentials are 
rejected (including at auto-login), giving the user a chance to update 
the stored password or simply to try again without going through the 
account settings.  Outlook, Thunderbird, etc all do this and our users 
expect it.

I'm trying to figure out how to actually save the password or clear it 
atm.  I am confused about something though: I see d-> all over the place 
but don't see the declariation anywhere.  I assume this is available as 
a global, but could someone point me towards the code where I can see 
what it's contents are?
