You probably can but then you still have to store the history in some 
central location and you have to create scripts to tie all that together.

It's much more convenient to use something like bandersnatcher to store 
all the history on the server. Then you can use HTTP to search/browse 
your history from any location. it would be nice if you could search all 
that with Psi (and with Spotlight) though...
