I had a good idea for a UI for the history search, and was close to writing a
prototype in Java just to bang something out to see how it looked. Then I
realised the history format was still a bit foreign to me and threw away the
idea. :-)
So most of the time I just use grep in preference to using the history search.
I'm sure there are a few people in the same boat.
