Well, yes and no.
In a way it's good that SIP is being incorporated into Jabber here and there.
But at the same time, SIP supporters... when they needed to implement instant
messaging, they completely ignored the well-known, well-tested standard
(Jabber) and flew off on their own tangent (SIMPLE).
So basically, I think that SIP supporters suck and they deserve no respect
whatsoever for creating such a diversion in standards (and I'm sure there must
be some people who agree with me on this), but right now, it doesn't look like
there is much choice in the way of quick solutions... so I'll take what I get,
if it means getting VOIP in Psi. :-)
