Apologies if this is an FAQ or anything - it sounds a bit like this
"known issue":

> On machines where previous versions of Psi were installed and not "default" account was used, Psi creates "default" account and opens it by default. This is confusing for users. (if we want to fix this, we have to find a way to read the settings from Qt3 --spike)

but what I'm seeing, on a Solaris system on which I've previously run
0.10, is slightly worse:

  1. When I run 0.11, it appears "blank" - ie. it has "tip of the day"
on, and asks me to create an account (no accounts exist)

  2. If I create an account and then quit and restart 0.11, the account
that I created is not there (and "tip of the day" is back on).

  3. If I blow away my old "$HOME/.psi" directory and start again, it
     works (settings persist after that).

Maybe you developers are not seeing this cos you've all been running
0.11 for a while...
