Thanx, i was _really_ blind...

hm, this feature appears depend on the server.
ejabberd supports it, whereas my jabberd2 seems not to have it
(or I misconfigured something there....).
just noticed it's reply in the xml console...

To be precise: When I first open Preferences, the Application tab is OK.
When I click on Chat, it is empty, and then when I go back to  
Application
it is empty too. And I forgot Advanced. It is sometimes blank too,
while the others take a while to fill up... :(
