I would prefer the 'normal' build instructions to remain as they are.
If there's a temporary situation that requires non-trivial changes,
it's better to create a temporary page, link it from the 'regular'
page, and then throw away the temporary instructions when they are no
longer needed.

I don't know what our policy should be on these types of things, but
right now, I don't mind a simple link to your page instead of copy
pasting it all in the wiki (and creating duplication etc.). You get
more credit for writing the stuff down this way as well. It's a
temporary situation anyway, you shouldn't invest too much effort at
this point. When things settle down, we can see if and how your
instructions should be put in a more central place.
