I thought the default windows behaviour of trayicons was doubleclick,  
however, of the 10 icons in my tray, I have:
5 icons which require a double click (including Psi) - all of which  
are third-party.
1 icon which brings up a menu (as you might expect from a right  
click) which is third-party
4 icons which act on a single click, which are the ones from Windows  
itself.
So it looks like the 'native' behaviour is single-click - as such,  
I'm happy to change the default.

As for the tool-window, I'd need a touch more persuading, but I'm  
open to that.
