Misha, read again: adding avatarts to *transport*. Transports acts like 
servers. So Norman wants to write a server-like thing and just needs a 
client :)

And now about the original question: I see PEPAvatar class in 
avatars.cpp, and there are no TODOs around, so I guess they should work, 
probably.
