No, it displays the icon from the very beginning, but at first (before 
file transfer is finished) it displays "generic" icon based on file 
extension. It doesn't really make any difference for most of file types. 
The most significant exception are exe files which have their icon 
inside them. So you'll see standard exe icon (the one that usually looks 
like a white window with blue frame) while transfering, and real icon 
after the transfer is finished.
