Even so, i highly doubt that disco'ing for proxies will improve the  
situation.
No public server i know has a proxy, so in 99.9% of the cases, disco  
will
reply with nothing, and you'll need to specify some other proxy  
manually anyway.
Jabber.org has one in theory, but i have the impression it is down  
most of
the time.
