Hi,
I believe this should be reported to Trolltech:
I've installed Qt-4.2.1/OpenSource for Windows and after serious crashes
of Psi compiled against it (all of the crashes were in QtCore4.dll),
I've spotted that QtCore4.dll real checksum (0x001D4B0A) does not match
link checksum (0x001D52F8) as it should. What might be worth mentioning
- I use MinGW and never applied MSVC support patch, which is available
on the network (and which might be altering the binaries).
Library (and other executable) checksums can be found for example with
Dependency Walker (in MSVC6 it is in Tools under a name "Depends", in
subsequent MSVC releases you have to open Microsoft Visual Command
Prompt and issue a command "depends") in a dependant libraries list,
below the dependency tree and import/export lists.
I've never come across such a situation in my entire life both as simple
Windows user (since 1992) and as Windows programmer (since ca. 1999),
beside of course cases of obvious binary edits.
Regards,
