That's true. Account registration happens before setting a proxy like
a HTTP proxy. Moreover, HTTP proxies are bound to account connections,
and are not global, so there's no way of using it for account
registration anyway.

We don't intend on changing this any time soon. If you're behind a
HTTP proxy, the 'get servers' feature will just be unavailable for
you.
