[Psi-Devel] [BUG] Several Psi bugs remaining in Psi-0.11

Welcome,


As we're not releasing Psi-0.11 yet, maybe it would be good to take a 
look at some of the bugs still around (they still exist in development 
snapshot made on August 18, 2007). The operating system I use is Windows 
XP Professional Service Pack 2 with all patches.

1. Tooltip of trayicon displays a wrong status description.
Steps to replicate the bug:
a) Disconnect Psi manually and set a status description.
b) Hibernate the operating system.
c) After system restore, Psi reconnects. No status description is set.
d) Trayicon's tooltip shows the status description that was set when 
going offline before system hibernation.
If operating system is hibernated with Psi being online, Psi will go 
offline without status description, but AFAIR, Psi trayicon's tooltip 
will then display status description set while still being online.

2. If an account is PEP-enabled, then account's tooltip (as well as self 
contact's tooltip) differs from the tooltip displayed for the same 
contact if in somebody else's roster.
Requirements for replicating the bug:
- Two accounts, at least one PEP-enabled.
- PEP-enabled account is among the other account's contacts.
Steps to replicate the bug:
a) On a PEP-enabled account set User Mood or User Tune.
b) On another account, hover the mouse over the PEP-enabled account's 
contact. User Mood or User Tune information is displayed.
c) Hover the mouse over the PEP-enabled account bar or its self contact. 
Neither User Mood nor User Tune information is displayed.


If more bugs come to my mind, I'll let you know about it.
