[Psi-devel] psi versions vs. suspend/resume behavior/priorities, etc.

Greetings. I'm a bit confused about the on-again-off-again nature
of suspend/hibernate/resume support in the various win32 versions
of PSI. I've been through the archives but that doesn't really
answer the question ...
The current release version (.10) of PSI goes offline when a system
is suspended, but doesn't go back online on wakeup. I've read the
various arguments about this, and they suggested that .11 beta (I've
tested beta 4) was rigged to wakeup again after suspend. However,
I've found that .11 beta 4 and the current daily don't even go
offline at suspend -- they ignore the event completely. Meanwhile,
the later versions do offer priority changes for events (which .10
apparently doesn't have) but since they ignore suspend/hibernate
still create the situation where a user is left with online presence
after suspending their system and/or not resuming presence after
coming out of suspend.
This pattern seems a bit inconsistent -- particularly the ignoring
of suspend events starting at .11. Can anyone shed some light
on this? Thanks much (and thanks for PSI!)
