You don't want to ask that question ;)

It just turns out that Machekku and I were using different windows to  
check the shortcuts - in the TabDlg which I was checking the  
shortcuts are set in a different method, and updated on an options  
change. In the ContactView which Machekku was checking they're set  
only in the constructor and not updated later. The bug has been there  
since the shortcuts were first introduced, but Machekku has just  
volunteered to fix it. Yay Machekku.
