[Psi-devel] Off-the-Record Messaging

Hello,

I'm going to extend psi with the Off-the-Record Messaging (OTR) protocol. I know
that not everybody wants to have OTR in Psi, because it's not a xmpp extension
and so on.
However, i think it's important to have OTR and many people would use it.

Perhaps someone can give me a few references, how to do it the best way. 
I saw that the version in the SVN has a plugin interface. However, I was not   
able to get one of the plugins running. What is the current state of the plugin
interface? Or is it a better idea to built OTR directly into psi, like it is   
done with GPG?
