I think that we don't update the self contact unless we get the
information broadcasted back (which used to be done before IIRC, but
probably doesn't anymore). I've been a bit out of the PEP loop lately,
so I don't know what is in the spec or not, and whether it makes sense
to ask for this to be added. If not, we'll have to update our self
contact manually.
