No, the problem is that the connection is not closed properly when
going to hibernation, and this causes the connection to remain open
(although there is no receiving application anymore).

I'm not sure what the Windows hibernation problem is. Maybe the
hibernate is not detected (correctly)?

Maybe if someone with an XP box can test whether hibernation works,
and otherwise put in some qDebug()'s to see what's going on in there.
