Related to this discussion, it might be worth mentioning our plans
with certificates. In the future, we will allow importing of server
certificates if the user wants to (with the option 'always trust this
certificate' in the warning dialog), which should make things more
secure (as you don't need to ignore all SSL options anymore). If the
certificate changes, you will get a new warning message, etc.
