It's not a broken idea, if you throw out the 'ask the user if its ok'
part. But yeah, too much work for no real gain I believe. Moreover, it
makes things complicated to explain: before logging in, your PlainText
would need to be set to a fourth temporary option, which would then
modify itself after logging in, etc. I say we keep it simple, both for
the developers as for the users :-)
