I would very much doubt that it has something to do with that. As i
said, it's just the last thing that happens after logging in, which is
why it's the last thing showing up.

If i were you, i would disable GnuPG (main.cpp, comment the
Q_IMPORT_PLUGIN(qca_gnupg)), recompile, and see what happens.
