three lines of rule per list sounds a bit much. You need only a small
constand number of lines for all your mailingslists, if you use
something like this:
:0 :
* ^List-Id: \/.*$
* MATCH ?? ^[^<]*<\/[-A-Z0-9]+
mail/lists/$MATCH

Absolutely. And if you don't like to subscribe for every list via mail, you
can use the very nice gmane NNTP gateway with your own favourite
(possibly graphical) newsreader.
