I retried this just now in 22 May beta, and it worked (although Psi  
was relaunched recently). It could be that this problem is actually  
triggered later during Psi's run somehow. I'll test this again over  
time.

Btw, why doesn't Psi/Mac have an Edit menu?

I don't know anything about 'cmd-~'; the problem I was having is that  
keystrokes are missed (thrown away) when typing in chat windows. None  
of my other Mac applications do this. It's not necessarily easy to  
reproduce; on this young Psi run, it doesn't seem to be happening, so  
like the problem above, perhaps it occurs during long runs (I have  
Psi open for days). This has only been a problem in 0.11 betas. I'll  
post again when it recurs.
