I'm happy to hear that it works in qcatool.  All we need to do next is find 
out what is being done differently in a Psi situation.

Hmm, but Psi 'configure' succeeds?  It would be strange for that to succeed 
but then for the build to fail.

Nope, the app has to write its own handler.  As far as I know, Psi only has a 
GUI one.  Get the system QCA linked with Psi, so that both qcatool and Psi 
are using the same lib and plugins.  If the bug persists, then we can 
investigate into what might be going wrong.
