I've never seen this before.  Maybe it is a conflict with the bundled qca and 
system qca.  Try running Psi configure with --disable-bundled-qca to ensure 
you are only using the system qca.  For what it's worth, I've tested building 
a Psi with bundled qca when there is a system qca installed, and it works 
just fine, so I really don't know why you get this problem in the first 
place...

Good question.  That was the plan for awhile, but it seems the 0.11 release 
tarball has the bundled qca and this is utilized by default.  This means that 
even if you have a system qca, Psi will by default build with its bundled qca 
anyway.  Whether or not you use a standalone qca is then explicitly your 
choice, by use of the --disable-bundled-qca option.
