Sorry for the lack of reply, you probably thought we didn't exist.  I
can't speak for all these other jokers but I was just busy.  :)

Have you tried 0.11 yet?  Grab 0.11-RC3 which was just released.  We
do have some keybinding customization available, although no
backward-delete-word I'm afraid.  I can't say that I've ever seen such
a keystroke outside a small handful of linux text editors.  Not that
there's anything wrong with it, just saying it's relatively obscure.
