Hi,
I'm a gajim user (ex-psi user) but I've tried the 0.11-RC3 release. Here
we're setting up a Jabber server for all the students (over 2000) of my
engineering school. Currently we're making some tests to know if all works
fine etc. (before render this server really public)
Some students have tried some jabber clients and psi is considered as one of
the best client. But the main use of Jabber here is for the MUC rooms. We'll
have severals rooms and it's very very useful to have the /join command like
in gajim.
I explain how gajim deals with join command :
- You're in : roomA at conference.server.com
- You want to go on roomB at conference.server.com, you type : /join roomB or
/join roomB at conference.server.com
- You want to go on room at conference.anotherserver.com, you type : /join
room at conference.anotherserver.com
This little command is very important and people are asking for.
Thanks.
