Or another choice - to use Jingle File Transfer. I'm not sure though
that it will solve your problem, but as I know it is expected to work
where usual file transfer fails.

Right now there is some code in Psi main branch, and it works reliably
(after some tweaking) for receiving files from Google Talk clients.
