Just as you've said before

So I think the best way is to simply have two global options "Connect at 
startup" and "Auto reconnect". Setting "Auto reconnnect" to On should make 
Psi auto reconnect any time it loses connect, i.e. temporary network loss, 
server-side problems or suspend/resume.
