Hmm. I'd still want it to go back to the same state it was in when it
suspended. But looking back in the thread, I think I see what you're
talking about-- you're looking to have the resume behavior ignore the
previous state and behave as if you just launched Psi, right (you
don't have one configuration for startup and a different one for
wake)?
It still seems like the current setup is over-complicated (and it
isn't even possible to achieve the behavior I'm interested in).
So what if the per-account "automatically connect after sleep" setting
was removed and one global preference added that toggled between two
personalities (word it however you want <g>):
A) On wake, all accounts try to resume the state they were in when suspended
or
B) On wake, all accounts try to assume the state specified by their
"automatically connect on startup" settings
The A case covers my expectations. Does the B case cover yours? Are
there any other behaviors people are after that these two modes don't
handle?
