Not a programmer myself, I have a slightly different question (and I
would appreciate a guess):

Would this compile incompatibility affect the way Lingust 4.4 edits and
saves pre-created TS files? I mean, can I as a translator use Linguist
4.4 to edit the TS files that were given to me by a project (not
necessarily Psi) that is compiled using a slightly earlier version of
Qt, and then that project still use my TS files?

I guess if the TS version number doesn't change, then it is "the same
format" and everything is safe, but I don't use TS myself and I don't
know if my guess would be correct.

Your comments appreciated
Samuel
