Dear Norman,
I am not sure how to report a bug or undesired behavior in Psi. Thus,
instead of submitting this to the list, I am emailing you because you
seem to take care of the Windows version.
The problem I experienced and recreated more than once is the following:
When Psi fails to load an icon from the default set, it gracefully
aborts showing a dialog window that reports the failure. In addition, a
debug message is thrown out to the console by the method
Iconset::Private::loadIcon( ... ). For example,
Iconset::load(): Couldn't load image/png (inmeeting.png) graphic for the
status/inmeeting icon for the Stellar3 Iconset + 'InAMeeting' Icon iconset
That is great but what it is bad if after that your accounts.xml file in
PsiDate is overwritten and becomes empty. Basically, you lose all your
accounts information, which is a very undesirable result. I understand
that by attempting to include a new icon in the default set, I am
performing a task that regular uses will not, but I thought that you
might want to know about issue with the accounts.
I am going to find out in a bit what I am missing to make it work, so I
will keep you posted.
Best regards,
