... and also regarding your comment: "By the way, there is enchant support
in Git now. Do we need direct support for hunspell?"
I didn't know that enchant support is going to be implemented in Psi, then
I would not mess with hunspell myself in the first place ;-)
When selecting spellchecker engine to use I've also considered enchant,
but I didn't like their policy of including spelling engine sources
directly to their library: for example current enchant version contains
sources of hunspell engine that are older compared to current hunspell
release.
I'm not THAT picky on this subject, though ;-) If Psi now officially
contains enchant support, I, probably, can live with slightly outdated
hunspell engine version used rather than mess each time patching Psi with
my own hunspell patch ;-) So no, I do not think it makes a lot of sense to
include hunspell patch now.
As for the multi-languages, though, I still think it's useful feature:
surely I cannot speak for others, but I apply this patch to every Psi
instance on all computers I use and find it convenient.
Is hunspell/enchant issue the only thing that leads to "maybe" status of
this issue? If yes, I can also port this patch to enchant engine. Would you
consider including it then, or are there other issues with it?
Thanks!
